As a Reiki practitioner, you can take your work with crystals to new heights. Crystals, with their natural electromagnetic properties similar to the human energy field, can absorb, store, and emit energy. This makes them perfect for programming with information and dedicating to specific energy frequencies. The steps below will assist you in working, loving and forming a relationship with your chosen crystals...

Choosing Your Crystals

Trust your intuition when selecting crystals to work with. Some popular choices for Reiki attunement include clear quartz, amethyst, rose quartz, obsidian and the reiki crystal apophyllite.

Clear Quartz: Amplifies the energy of other crystals

Amethyst: Promotes spiritual growth and emotional balance

Rose Quartz: Embodies unconditional love and compassion

Obsidian: Grounds and shields against negative energies

Cleansing Your Crystals

Before attuning, you need to cleanse your crystals of any unwanted energies. Methods can include 

Smudging: Use sage, palo santo, or incense

Sound: Tap a teaspoon on a crystal glass or use a singing bowl

Moonlight: Place them under the full moon with the intention of the moons light cleans the crystal

Selenite: Place your crystals among selenite, which can cleanse other crystals

Reiki – Any symbol you are attuned to or just use your intention

Preparing Your Space

(This is not necessary but helps to put you in the right mindset and pulls you away from distractions) Set up a quiet, distraction-free space. You can choose to create a calming atmosphere with candles, incense, or soothing music. Take a few moments to ground and center yourself. An easy way is by visualising roots growing from your (root charka) pelvis down your legs and out from the centre of your feet into mother earth. Grounding helps you work with the Reiki energy more effectively.

Connecting and Attuning to Reiki Energy

Activate the Reiki flow by placing your hands in the Gassho position at your heart and setting an intention for the highest of good, such as:

"I command Reiki to flow through me and into these crystals, attuning them to the highest vibrations of Reiki for healing and balance." Then, hold each crystal and feels its energy allowing white light flowing from your hands into the crystal, filling it with Reiki energy.

Programming and Intention setting

Hold the crystal to your heart and Set your Intention to how you would like the crystals to be used . You can say something like, “ I program this rose quartz to radiate unconditional love and compassion in all areas of my life. And So it is” or "Only the most positive high-level energies may work through this crystal."

Seal your intention

Finish and close, requesting the crystal to become self-clearing. Give Thanks & Gratitude
