When selecting cacao for your Reiki practice, opt for high-quality, ceremonial-grade varieties. Trust your intuition to guide you to the best source. Don’t be scared to try different brands and qualities to find the one that suits you the best.
Cleansing and Preparing the Cacao
Before attuning the cacao to Reiki, it's important to cleanse it of any unwanted energies. You can use various methods, such as:
Smudging with Palo Santo, or incense
Sound healing through singing or music
Moonlight purification under the full moon
Reiki cleansing using the Reiki symbols your attuned too
Set up a quiet, distraction-free space, creating a calming atmosphere with candles, incense, or soothing music. Ground yourself by visualizing roots growing from your pelvis, down your legs, and out through the soles of your feet into Mother Earth.
Activating the flow of Reiki. Place your hands in the Gassho position at your heart and set an intention for the highest good, such as:
"I allow Reiki to flow through me and into this cacao, attuning it to the highest vibrations of Reiki for healing and transformation."
Hold the cacao in your hands and feel its motherly energy. Allow the white light of Reiki to flow from your heart into your hands and into the cacao, filling it with the divine Reiki energy.
Programming and Intention Setting
Hold the cacao and use the Hon Sha Ze Sho Nen (HSZSN) symbol to open its energy field.
Hold the cacao to your heart and set your intention, such as: "May this cacao open my heart and facilitate deep healing and transformation."
Seal your intention with either the Power symbol or the Emotional symbol or both symbols
Finish and close with the Hon Sha Ze Sho Nen and Raku symbols.
Gratitude and Closing
Express gratitude from your own being, return to the Gassho position, and take a few deep breaths to close the session.
Prepare your cacao as usual. You can do this technique on your Ceremonial Cacao and water before making your elixir or after you have made your elixir.
Personally, I keep my ceremonial cacao in a large 1lt glass jar and attune the whole jar of cacao.
