“When you judge others, you do not define them, you define yourself.” – Earl Nightingale

Being judgmental says more about us than the person we’re judging. It reflects our biases, beliefs, and insecurities. By being open-minded and non-judgmental, we can create a more accepting and compassionate world.

Change your world in 30 Days Forgiveness Exercise

Overview

What you will need.

  • It is recommended to perform this exercise in the same place, i.e your favourite spot where you feel relaxed, calm, and cantered. Ensure you will not be disturbed for the next 10–15 minutes. By choosing the same spot the energy builds up and you are able to drop into forgiveness and meditation faster.

Instructions:

  1. Feel the Sensation of Forgiveness: Sit with no judgment and abide as the witness. Meditate inwardly, not outwardly.

  2. Allow Thoughts and Sensations: Whatever arises—be it sensations in the body (e.g., pain, tension), past memories, images, or feelings—allow it to come with no judgment.

  3. Preparation: Read all of this article before embarking on the exercise

Day 1

  • Enter a Calm State: Sit quietly and calmly. If your mind races,  then spend a few minutes practising prana breathing, box breathing, or inhaling for a count of 6 and exhale for a count of 10 (3 times).

  • Dedicate Your Practice:

    • Once your mind is calm and you are in a state of stillness, say the following: “I do not know what my brother or sister needs.”

    • In your mind, say: “I choose to forgive whatever comes into my awareness.”

  • Observe: Notice what comes into your mind—an image, picture, or sensation. Be present with whatever is being presented.

  • Forgive and Release:

    • Say: “Please forgive me the judgment I have placed upon you and I release you now from my body and mind.”

    • Embrace the image, person, or sensation. Feel yourself forgiving and releasing: “I bless you and I release you.”

    • If it's a sensation in the body (pain, tension, discomfort), say, "I heal you, allow space and peace to come to the part of the body that is holding the pain or tension."

    • If it's a picture in the mind or a situation, allow the image to dissolve and spaciousness to come back.

    • Conclude the practice by letting go of everything.

Days 2–30

  • Repeat Day 1: Practice this exercise daily. Allow whatever needs to be presented and forgiven to arise and fall away. With no reaction. This is the clearing process. There is no need to do anything.

  • Be Open: Sometimes, things that arise may come from elsewhere—past lives or lost memories. Never judge what is coming forth or its origin.

What to Expect:

  • By the end of the 30 days, you may feel lighter and different. Relationships may improve greatly, and you might even feel energetically larger than before. Remember, when you heal, those around you heal as well.

  • You might encounter memories or situations from the past or even past lives. Remember not to judge – simply observe and release.

Reminder:

  • Perform this exercise in the same place daily to create a consistent routine.

  • Embrace whatever comes up without judgment and focus on the sensation of forgiveness and release.

  • Maintain a non-judgmental attitude during the entire process.

Why not enhance the healing process with a delicious mug of Sacred cacao: All you will need is 30 days of ceremonial cacao: Dosage anywhere from 10–20g a day and if you are drawn to it , lighting a candle while drinking and performing the exercise.

Why Use Ceremonial Cacao?

Ceremonial cacao helps unlock the channels of the heart, allowing it to be heard. Sacred cacao enables us to reside in the heart with unconditional love and experience the feelings and sensations of forgiveness.
